RA-AUS RECREATIONAL PILOT CERTIFICATE (RPC) TO CASA RECREATIONAL PILOT LICENCE (RPL) CONVERSION

Are you looking at expanding your aviation experience and skill-set?

Converting your RA-Aus RPC to a CASA RPL is a great way of doing this. Other than a fair bit of paperwork this is not a difficult process and we’ll guide you through it most importantly we’ll give you valuable flying skills that will make your more confident and competent through the aircrafts flight envelope.

Most of our students combine this transitional training with one of the courses listed below. For more details on the CASA RPL click here.

KEEPING IT CURRENT:

Just like all CASA licences the RPL is subject to an Aeroplane Flight Review (AFR) every 2 years. The great thing is, if you already hold an RA-Aus Pilot Certificate, this flight review will generally satisfy the currency requirements of this certificate.

CONVERT TO THE RPL WITH ONE OF OUR ADVANCED COURSES

UPSET PREVENTION & RECOVERY TRAINING

The Upset Prevention & Recovery Training Course (also known as UPRT) is designed to expose you, the pilot, to the most common mishandling situations so you know where your personal limits lie and how to go beyond those limits in an emergency

TAILWHEEL ENDORSEMENT

The Tailwheel Endorsement is a great way to improve your general aircraft handling skills, in particular during take-off, landing and ground operations. As a pilot you will be better at recognising undesired aircraft states and ultimately increase flight safety.

CONTROLLED AIRSPACE ENDORSEMENT

Are you ready to explore further and go through main areas of airspace around the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane (or even further if you are adventurous!) Completion of the course will give you a Controlled Airspace Endorsement to enjoy the freedoms of flying anywhere around Australia.

AEROBATICS ENDORSEMENT

This course is designed to teach pilots with no previous aerobatics experience the skills, knowledge and techniques to safely conduct aerobatic manoeuvres. You will learn individual and combination manoeuvres, but most importantly the ability to recognize undesired aircraft states and the appropriate recovery techniques.
