For sale Citabria project, VH-WHN
Complete aircraft disassembled for restoration.
Engine – Lycoming O-320 A2D, TSO 820 hours approx. Partially stripped for bulk strip due oil leaks, low compression and corrosion on cam/ lifters. Wrapped and inhibited. Engine can be separated and is priced at $12K. but preference is to sell the project as a complete unit.
Fuselage – stripped and inspected, Fuselage frame in good condition and will need to be repainted before covering, wooden stringers and frames need repair or replacement. Propeller is included as part of the project.
Tail surfaces – stripped of covering. Stabs in good condition, Elevators and rudder require weld repairs or replacement.
Wings– stripped of covering and inspected, Wooden Spar version, spars have some damage requiring either repair or replacement, several cracked ribs require repair.
Misc metal parts have been paint stripped, cleaned, inspected and epoxy etch primed ready for paint
Includes Instruments but NO Avionics.
Project includes the following new parts
Airtech fabric covering kit – including coatings with white and dark blue finish coats, Fabric pre sewn fuselage bag.
New engine cowls
New Electrical panel
Near new main wheels and brakes (fitted to Aircraft approx. 12 months ago)
New misc inspection covers and gap seals
New headliner, gap seals and other sundry items
All new parts are boxed for pickup.
The above new parts alone cost over $30K to purchase.
