PRIVATE PILOT LICENCE (PPL)

Overview: Full-time up to 5 consecutive days (part-time options available). 

Our Private Pilot Licence (PPL) courses are designed to be completed in a short, fully immersive training block. This creates the ideal learning environment to achieve your flying goals. It not only improves your ability to retain new information and skills, but it allows instructors to spend one-on-one time with you, tailoring the course to your individual learning needs. 

What are the steps required? 
Students need to complete the following steps to acquire their Private Pilot Licence:

  1. 1. Complete their Recreational Pilot Certificate (RPC) including Tailwheel Endorsement
  2. 2. Convert to Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL)
  3. 3. Obtain Controlled Airspace Endorsement
  4. 4. Complete your PPL Theory Exam
  5. 5. Complete this PPL preparation course and conduct your flight test. 

How old must you be?
To hold this licence you must be 16 years or older.

  • Flying Hours (Piper Super Cub) = 10 Hours @ $378/hour = $3780
  • Instructor Time = 3 Days @ $605/day = $1815
  • Course Deposit - $2500
